Sam Parkin

Sam Parkin amassed 441 appearances over a 16-year playing career that began at Chelsea and took in stops in both England and Scotland.

He made his name at Swindon Town where he was one of the most prolific strikers in the Football League in the early 2000s, scoring 73 goals in 142 games for the Wiltshire outfit in a three-year spell between 2002 and 2005.

Since hanging up his boots in 2014, Parkin has transitioned into the media world where he has been a regular contributor to both BBC Radio Wiltshire, at former club Swindon, and with Chelsea TV as a pundit and commentator.
