Paul Mortimer

A native of London, born in Kensington, Paul Mortimer has played for a number of London football clubs including Charlton and Crystal Palace with a brief sojourn up to the Midlands for Coventry.

Charlton fans will no doubt remember his goal against Bradford City - under the management of his former team mate and fellow LOVE SPORT host Alan Curbishley - where he weaved his way through defenders and put an exquisite shot to the bottom right of the goal.

After his playing career ended, Paul coached at Wimbledon, Arsenal, Brentford and Torquay United as well as a stint coaching for Sierra Leone’s international team.

Paul is also an integral part of Kick It Out, and has also been appointed as a non-executive director of the London FA.

Listen to Paul Mortimer on LOVE SPORT Radio every Saturday morning from 7am.
