Arsenal left-back Sead Kolasinac lasted just eighteen minutes into his side’s clash with Everton on Sunday before having to be replaced.

The Bosnian full-back has had little luck with injuries so far this campaign, he had already missed three fixtures over the festive period with an ankle injury.

The extent of his latest knock and how long he will face out of action remains to be seen, though if it’s anything like the shoulder injury sustained by fellow Gunners left back Kieran Tierney, who hasn’t featured since the 9th of December, Kolasinac could be out for a long spell.

The incident came whilst Arsenal were still 1-0 down to the Toffees; Kolasinac and Everton right-back Djibril Sidibe collided mid-air as the pair contested an aerial duel.

Though the Emirates faithful will wish the Bosnian a speedy recovery, they already have his replacement ready and waiting in the wings. 18-year-old Bukayo Saka has been in inspired form of late, and notched his tenth assist of the season just moments after replacing the crocked Kolasinac with a spectacular cross that found Eddie Nketiah who fired home.

Sead Kolasinac joins a long list of injured Arsenal stars which includes: Kieran Tierney, Calum Chambers and new-loanee recruit Cedric Soares.
