Love Sport Radio is absolutely fuming about the decision by the ECB to not grant Eoin Morgan and Co. an absolutely massive victory parade if they stuff the Kiwis at Lords on Sunday.
If we beat New Zealand it will be only the third time an England national team has won a World Cup - the other two being in football in 1966, and of course the Rugby World Cup in 2003.

It would be an incredible achievement and one that should be honoured by both the Greater London Assembly and the ECB. But no. The stuffy suits running the ECB have decided that it won’t happen because it’s ‘too close to The Ashes’. WHAT?!
The Times reports: “The ECB held talks recently with the Greater London Authority about the possibility of staging a parade or a street party in the event of a World Cup victory, but has opted against the idea because there would be insufficient time before the Ashes.”
At the very least, the England fans deserve the chance to dance around topless in a fountain at Trafalgar Square with Jerusalem belting out on the sound system.
And now, Conservative Greater London Assembly member, Keith Prince, has teamed up with Love Sport to hand Mayor Sadiq Khan a petition calling for the cricketing heroes to be honoured with a victory parade.
The England Cricket Board has refused a victory parade if our boys win the #CricketWorldCup!!— Keith Prince (@KeithPrinceAM) July 12, 2019
Please sign this petition (supported by @lovesportradio) if you agree England's cricketers deserve a heroes' welcome if they win. @TheBarmyArmy https://t.co/iDbMDNBCPt pic.twitter.com/Vy6PcURfyb

The petition reads:
We are calling on the England Cricket Board to reverse their decision to not hold a victory parade if England wins the Cricket World Cup on Sunday.
The ECB was in discussions with the Mayor of London about holding a victory parade if England triumphs on Sunday. Sadly, the board refused the opportunity saying it would clash with the cricketers' preparation for the upcoming Ashes. The Mayor of London stands ready to hold a victory parade if the ECB agree that there should be one.
We believe the ECB has made the wrong decision as the players deserve a heroes' parade if they achieve England's first win at the Cricket World Cup. The supporters also deserve a chance to celebrate their success at the country's biggest sporting event this year.
Sign this petition if you agree that the England Cricket Team deserve a victory parade if they win the Cricket World Cup.
