Transfer gossip is back, listing and assessing all the biggest rumours from the Premier League so that you don’t have to.
Real eye Premier League stars amid four-game crisis
Harry Kane has become Europe’s hottest property and Real Madrid reportedly believe he is the answer to their latest crisis.
Real saw Cristiano Ronaldo leave over the summer and appear to be struggling in his absence, without a win or a goal in four matches.
And Spanish tabloid El Confidencial claim that president Florentino Perez is planning a transfer spree to fix the problems in the team with RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner top of the list.
However, Chelsea’s Eden Hazard and Tottenham’s Kane are both under consideration – and Madrid are said to be hoping that Spurs’ likely failure to qualify for the Champions League knockout stages could convince the England striker that he would be better off at the Bernabeu.
Love Sport verdict: El Confidencial is a proper tabloid in Spain and does concede that Perez may not want to spend the kind of money – perhaps as much as £200m – that Kane would likely command. Spurs fans can rest as easy as they were yesterday.

De Gea ‘concerned’ about Man Utd future
David de Gea could walk away from Manchester United for free in June 2020, according the Telegraph.
The Spaniard has been with United since 2011, racking up more than 300 appearances and appearing in the PFA Team of the Year on five separate occasions.
But the 27-year-old has repeatedly been linked with a return to his native Madrid – he was signed from Atletico Madrid – with Real coming within hours of a deal in September 2015.
A second botched deal last summer is said to have left De Gea unlikely to join Los Blancos but, after meetings between the club and Jorge Mendes in London on Friday, he does appear reluctant to commit beyond 2020 at United.
Love Sport verdict: A cynic might consider Jorge Mendes to be taking advantage of United’s struggles to bag his client a bumper deal. Equally, De Gea’s future at the club has never been certain and it might be that he is sick of being far too busy. Even if his relationship with Real Madrid has soured, there will be plenty of others more than happy to offer him a massive deal if he becomes available on a free.
Emery could find coffers topped up
Unai Emery spent around £70m over the summer strengthening the squad but could find himself with an even bigger war chest next year thanks to Arsenal’s latest commercial deal.
The Gunners have done a deal with Adidas that will start next summer and provide the club with a financial boost worth £250m according to a report in The Times.
Only Chelsea and Manchester United have more lucrative kit deals and Arsenal’s new contract is a £20m-a-year upgrade on their previous agreement with Puma.
Love Sport verdict: Arsenal have repeatedly stressed that for a club of their size they do not compete adequately on a global basis. The recent complete buyout by Stan Kroenke was expected to improve that and this would suggest that is already happening.

Sancho a big money signing already
Jadon Sancho may not yet have made his England debut and only be 18 years old but The Sun claim he is already a £100m player.
Once upon a time Sancho was a Man City player and now a number of other Premier League clubs are hoping to tempt him back to England from Borussia Dortmund.
Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham are all reportedly in the market for the winger after he was handed his first call-up by Gareth Southgate last year.
Love Sport verdict: That price tag actually made me choke on my cornflakes. For a kid of 18? Just because he’s in the England squad? Proper rubbish tabloid rumour that. Surely. The world hasn’t gone that mad yet.
