Transfer gossip is back, listing and assessing all the biggest rumours from the Premier League so that you don’t have to.
Ramsey set for January Prem move
Aaron Ramsey will reportedly have a choice of top Premier League clubs to choose from if Arsenal decide to cash in on their out-of-contract star in January.
Ramsey, 27, is in the last year of his current deal and has had a four-year offer from the club withdrawn amid Unai Emery’s desire to cut the wage bill and spend the extra cash on his own players.
The Standard claim that the Wales international is a target for both Liverpool and Manchester United, who are considering a cut-price deal for the midfielder before he becomes a free agent in the summer.
Love Sport verdict: There was a time when Arsenal selling a player to either of their great rivals might have been inconceivable, especially one as good as Ramsey. But anything is possible in football these days and if the Gunners are determined to let him go, they might as well let two top Premier League sides get into a bidding war over him.

Madrid monitor Sterling contract situation
Raheem Sterling is into the last two years of his contract and Real Madrid are said to be monitoring the situation in case any talks with Man City hit problems.
Sterling joined Man City in 2015 after failing to resolve a contract dispute with Liverpool and now the Spanish giants are hoping a similar situation might arise in the coming months.
The England winger has less than two years left on his current deal and ESPN claim Madrid are keeping an eye on the situation - even though both Sterling and City are keen to do deal at his current club.
"It would be nice to play abroad. It would be a great experience. Spain's attractive. Anywhere the weather is nice really," Sterling said in December 2017.
Love Sport verdict: I'm not sure, despite his quote last year, Sterling actually wants to go and live abroad. That said, not many players turn down Real Madrid and Los Blancos would consider Sterling a major signing next summer.
United interest in Jordi Alba
Jordi Alba is stalling a new contract and our favourite Spanish tabloid Mundo Deportivo reckon Manchester United are going to pounce.
The 29-year-old Spain international has a cupboard full of winners medals and is regarded as one of the best left backs in the world.
United manager Jose Mourinho meanwhile has repeatedly criticised his own left back Luke Shaw, suggesting he could look to strengthen the area.
And with Alba now reportedly yet to put pen to paper on a new contract, United have been alerted to the Barca defender's potential availability.
Love Sport verdict: Oh, Mundo Deportivo. How we love you. Yes United need a left back but how unhappy Alba really is might be anyone's guess.

Liverpool and Manchester United miss out on Brazilian youngster
AC Milan have agreed a £30million deal for Brazil international Lucas Paqueta, beating Liverpool, Manchester United, PSG and Barcelona to his services.
The 21-year-old midfielder has appeared twice for Brazil and has become a crucial part of the Flamengo first team - but will now join up with Milan in January, subject to a medical.
Love Sport verdict: Barely counts as gossip, except for the fact that Paqueta is yet to pass a medical. Perhaps there is still a chance! (Ed: There really isn't. Probably.)
