Spurs fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions about a potential move for the Southampton man
Tottenham have been linked with a surprise move for Southampton Captain Pierre-Emile Højbjerg according to Sky Sports News. The rumour seems to have come somewhat out of the blue with the midfielder not linked with a move away previously.
Spurs have made the Denmark international a top priority for them in the summer, with several other top-flight clubs also interested including Arsenal and Everton.
The midfielder joined The Saints in July 2016 from German outfit Bayern Munich and has been a mainstay in the side for the past three-and-a-half years.
The idea of signing the Danish midfielder had several Tottenham supporters excited.

There is no chance that Southampton let Hojberg go with so little left in the the window, even though it would be a very good addition.— Hotspur Edition (@HotspurEdition) January 30, 2020
Some fans however were a little more pessimistic regarding the transfer move, even questioning the club's transfer movements.

I like Hojberg but why is this now coming to light 30 hours before the window shuts?
Was he part of the plan.
What is it our Scouting and recruitment team do?
Football London's Tottenham Hotspur correspondent Alasdair Gold however does not believe that the North Londoners are looking at the player or that Southampton would sell their talisman.
