Former footballer, now turned Love Sport presenter and EFL pundit, David Prutton gives us his preview for this weekend's best game and a prediction!

My game to look out for this weekend begins on Friday night, fantastically well, it's Fulham against Brentford, a West London Derby.

It's a game that over the course of last few seasons I've come to really enjoy and relish and the fans that get involved, albeit this is perhaps something that's hanging in the balance at this moment in time, but let's talk about purely from a footballing point of view.

Fulham and Brentford come in to this one, both vying for that best of the rest type tag. I think with the way that Leeds and West Brom, Leeds especially have picked up in recent weeks, then it's imperative that these two keep pressure on the top two, obviously, it's Fulham in third at this point in time. Brentford just four points behind them, so it's a nice game to keep the top two honest going into this one.

Players to watch out for

Aleksandar Mitrović we know what he's done so far this season. We know how good he is at this level. The general consensus is he's a striker that's Premier League standard playing in the Championship. I think the sheer amount of goals that he's scored attests to that.

And from Brentford's point of view the BMW they've got going forward has been a joy to watch and defensively at times they've been one of the best ones in the division. Going forward what we've seen from Ollie Watkins a winger-turned-striker, he's taken to that role very, very well.

Prediction

For me, it stacks up pretty well going into this one players wise. I've mentioned Mitrovic you can't come away from that, I think he's scored possibly around 50% of Fulham's goals in the championship, which is a staggering amount.

It's gonna be a close one, I can't see a winner. So I'm going to go for a draw two-all, an entertaining one on the banks of the Thames.
