Mason Mount left Twitter shell-shocked after he scored what can only be described as a multi-ball wonder goal!

With the entirety of the goal covered by the two top corners, the Chelsea midfielder lined up to strike a dead-ball, as another ball is tossed into the air.

After lashing his fight footed effort into the centre of the goal, the two footballs collide and both fly into the top left and right corners respectively.

The video has certainly divided the internet, with reactions ranging from heralding Mount as some kind of footballing genius to the more cynical of Twitter users claiming the video is fake.

Some of the Blues fanbase bizarrely took it as an opportunity to criticise the midfielder, with some actually calling for him to be moved out on loan.

Mount’s performances have hit a stumbling block as of late after a scintillating start to the season. The midfielder hasn’t scored since the fourth of December in the 2-1 win over Aston Villa, but did provide two assists in Chelsea’s last league outing at Leicester City.

Many eagle-eyed viewers questioned the authenticity of the video, after noticing a suspicious glitch in the cloud in the top-right corner.
