Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo continues to cement his legendary status as he makes Serie A history.

Ronaldo has already conquered the Premier League and La Liga, and has made Italy his latest hotbed for making history.

Joining Juventus in the summer of 2018, there was no need for any ‘adjustment period’ for the five-time Ballon D’or winner who has already equalled last seasons league goals tally of 21, this time in 21 appearances.

Normal record-breaking is too boring for ‘CR7’, who actually made two pieces of history in one game when Juve made the trip to SPAL. The Italian league leaders ran out 2-1 victors courtesy of goals from Ronaldo and former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey.

Just Ronaldo’s presence in this clash was enough to make history, as the tie was the Portuguese forward’s 1000th professional appearance. His illustrious career has seen him also play for Sporting, Manchester United and Real Madrid. His goal was the 725th, but more notably, it was the goal the sealed his place in the Serie A record books.

Ronaldo’s 39th minute strike saw him become just the third player in the league’s history to find the net in 11 straight games.

This latest impressive feat from the Portuguese forward saw twitter erupt into praise for the former Real Madrid man.

The record sits him alongside some illustrious company; Gabriel Batistuta and Fabio Quagliarella are the only other players to match Ronaldo’s impressive eleven game run.

Even fans of his former clubs took to social media to express their admiration for a player many believe to be the best of all time.
